The Genesis of Innovation
Began intensive research and development in industrial furnace systems, working hand in hand with leading furnace vendors inside major automotive component manufacturing plants.
Commercial Manufacturing Debut
Started full-scale production of high-performance aluminum melting furnaces, aluminum holding furnaces and heat treatment systems, while carrying out comprehensive maintenance contracts for top-tier automotive component plants under PT. Japan Engineering Technology.
Strategic Expansion and Joint Venture
Formed a joint-venture company, PT. Catur Darma Putra, to expand into mechanical, electrical and structural steel fabrication while continuing to advance furnace manufacturing. Key achievements included major projects for a leading Japanese automotive brand, as well as civil, mechanical and electrical works for the telecommunication towers of Indonesia’s No. 1 telecommunication brand.
The Birth of PT. Matahari Wasiso Tama
PT. Matahari Wasiso Tama (MWT) was officially established as the parent company, consolidating its fast-growing operations into two specialized, highly synergistic divisions under one corporate entity: Industrial Furnace and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Fabrication.
International Alliance with a Leading Japanese Furnace Manufacturer
Signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a leading Japanese furnace manufacturer, becoming its trusted local partner for furnace fabrication, installation and specialized maintenance.
Pioneer in Energy-Efficient Thermal TechnologyENERGY-EFFICIENT
Entered a technology partnership with Japanese technology partners. Under this Japanese technology transfer agreement, MWT was appointed to manufacture energy-efficient industrial furnaces equipped with advanced regenerative burner systems.
State-Owned Enterprise Qualification and Audit
Successfully passed a rigorous technical audit by a state-owned government primary aluminum company, qualifying MWT as an approved supplier of thermal processing technology.
Long-Term Partnership in Primary Aluminum
Began long-term cooperation with the same state-owned government primary aluminum company, marked by a contract to retrofit its 40-ton aluminum holding furnaces. To date, MWT has successfully retrofitted several of these 40-ton units.
